Many of those are not medically sound in any way, and can damage the eye because they are not sterile, or of a high enough optical quality.
It's way safer to get them from a real doctors office (they do sell them there) have them properly fitted, etc.. then to just get them online from who know's where.

I teach at a high school and they are NOT alowed for just those reasons. The kids also SHARE them, which is obviosuly a BAD idea!

My 2cents!

They are too expensive anyway.... but tell me you wouldn't make the kiddies wet the bed if you handed out candy with those black ones in.

I love those! The black ones are the coolest of them all, with perhaps the "Slithor" ones close behind. Very creepy. Being a Sci-Fi Channel nut, I'd choose the black ones. I can imagine wearing those to work and having my boss come in, then looking up at her....
heh heh heh....

Triva...Lon Chaney Jr. (of the B/W movie days) used the inside membrane of an egg shell over his eye to get the "blind" look in one of his characters (Phantom of the Opera, maybe?)...I can't imagine the blink reflex not taking over and preventing such a dumb move!

I have the blind eye and the cat eye contacs. I have for a couple years now. I got the blind eye contacts for dinner theater gig that my part time group the Local Misfits did. In fact all four of us got them as a prank. we all walked out on stage with a feeler cains. I got the cat eyes for halloween.

P.S. I was smart and got them from my optomitrist. they are cheap now. I think I paid over $100 for them back then.

One thing that keeps this forum interesting: No matter what kind of crazy thing someone finds, there is somebody on this forum that has tried it!

Yeah, I want the black ones too.

But I was the crazy guy who found it. Ignore me... I am in a strange place today -- odd sense of humor.
